EPITA offers an annual seminar to provide its membership with continuing education credits for compliance with licensure requirements in both Texas and New Mexico. The program was conceived, developed, and implemented in 2007 under the direction of the late Jorge Dieppa, EPITA member, UTEP professor, and United States Certified Court Interpreter. Through his teachings and examples, Mr. Dieppa was a respected and beloved colleague and an inspiration to an entire generation of interpreters. Mr. Dieppa’s innumerable contributions to EPITA and its membership produced a robust educational program that continues to thrive and grow.
